About
Software developer in Toronto. 6+ years, Canadian and international. B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from India; moved to Canada, post-grad at Fanshawe. This site is a personal collection of what I build, write, and enjoy.
Travel & outdoors
I love hitting the road - whether it's a weekend drive or a longer trip. A few highlights: Toronto to Vancouver and back through the US, solo in my BMW. Toronto to Florida. Banff. Two weeks in South Korea, also solo. Nothing crazy, but I'm grateful I got to do them. Travel gives me a chance to reset and see things from a different angle. When I'm not on the move, I like to slow down and stargaze; there's something grounding about looking up at the same sky people have watched for thousands of years.
InstagramReading
I read a lot of non-fiction - books, audiobooks, podcasts - especially around astronomy and the cosmos: how we got here, what's out there, and how we try to make sense of it. A lot of it leans toward the kind of stuff that made Carl Sagan, George Carlin, and Richard Dawkins household names - big questions, clear thinking, and a bit of irreverence. Books on space, time, and the universe sit next to my coding and design reads. I'll share favourites and notes here as I go.
Gaming
Chess is still a regular habit - I like the clarity of the rules and that there's always something new to learn. Before that, I poured thousands of hours into Dota (around 5000), Counter-Strike (around 3000), and PUBG (around 700). I enjoyed it. But at the end of the day it was a waste of time - nothing to show for it. Steam and PC gaming are a thing of the past for me; these days I'm more focused on career and life.
Steam profileMind & ideas
I care about science, philosophy, and physics - not as separate subjects but as different ways of asking how things work and what's true. I try to follow arguments where they go and value rationality and clear thinking, both in work and in how I read and explore ideas.
This is it
“Thirty-something years on the planet, and this is what I have to show for it.”
“Behold: the fruits of three decades. A website and some thoughts.”
“This is the magnum opus. Thirty years in the making.”
P.S. Everything on this page is meaningless. So is life. Anyway—
